American Bus & Accessories, Inc. was originally started in 1955 as Wayne Sales, Inc. The founders of the company had a background in truck equipment and took advantage of an opportunity to become a new school bus distributor for Wayne Corporation. They soon became one of the more dominant school bus distributors in their territory.

In 1986 Michael Roberts purchased the company and a new corporation was formed known as American Bus & Accessories, Inc. Today they are considered specialists in their market; lending expertise on the latest state and federal regulations, recommending the best equipment for a particular need, stocking up to date parts inventories, and providing the utmost in customer service.
The company is located on approximately five acres in Cincinnati, Ohio on Interstate 75. It operates out of a 10,000 square foot building with offices, a parts department and three service bays. American Bus & Accessories, Inc owns both the building and the land and currently leases approximately 10,000 square feet of warehouse space.
American Bus and Accessories’ strengths have been our years of experience to effectively market a specialized product such as the school and commercial buses. With this experience, we have provided our customers with the following sales support services.
Parts: Up to date original equipment parts are readily available. Parts can be picked up for reduced down time or we can ship them UPS. We offer a complete inventory of parts for all makes and models of buses which can be shipped daily.
Customer Service: To complement our sales representatives, we provide a full time staff and a national toll free telephone number. Our customers are able to call and get their questions answered or their parts ordered at no cost to them.
